Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, and 1 large egg until smooth. Pour mixture into an unbaked 10-inch pie shell. sprinkle with the pecans. In another bowl, blend 3 large eggs, 1 cup light corn syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Gently pour over nuts. Bake on center rack 50-60 minutes, until center is just set and pastry is golden. cool on wire rack. |
