Preparation:
In heavy 2 quart saucepan, mix sugar, butter, marshmallows, salt and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top. Boil and stir over medium heat 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and morsels until morsels have melted. Stir in nuts. Spread mixture in buttered 8-9 inch square pan. Press nut halves on top (optional). Refrigerate. Cut into 30 pieces. |
