Preparation:
combine sake, honey, soy sauce, and ginger in a saucepan, over a medium flame bring to a boil add mussels, reduce heat, and simmer for 3 minutes remove mussels with a slotted spoon, set aside combine cornstarch and water-mix well add cornstarch mixture to saucepan heat and stir untl thickened remove from heat add mussels and stir to coat with thickened sauce skewer with toothpicks arrange onto a lettuce-lined serving plate serve hot |
