Ingredients:

18 medium scallops
1 Cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil -- (2 to 3)
3 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic
2 sprigs parsley -- (2 to 3)
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
 

Preparation:

Coat scallops with bread crumbs. Heat oil and butter together and saute the garlic and parsley. Add scallops and fry them gently until browned. Moisten with wine and sprinkle with a little lemon juice. Continue cooking gently until wine has evaporated. Serve hot.
