Preparation:
Wash whole piece of meat from an abalone in cold water, and trim off all
tough
black edges. With a very sharp knife, score meat all across top and bottom
surfaces about 1/8 inch apart and 1/4 inch deep. Slice meat across the
scoring
lines (right angles) into strips as thin as possible. Dip strips into soy or
dipping sauce. Makes first course for about 6 people.
Note: As you eat, mix wasabi with soy sauce according to your taste. |
