Roast Pork With Banana Sauce

Ingredients:

3 pound pork loin roast -- about 3 pounds
1 Tablespoon salad oil
1 teaspoon Lawrys Seasoned Salt to taste
1 teaspoon Lawrys Seasoned Pepper to taste
1/4 Cup Lawrys Minced Onion with Green Onion
1/4 Teaspoon Lawrys Garlic Powder with Parsley
1 Can diced green chiles -- (4 oz.)
2 medium ripe bananas
1 1/2 Cups orange juice
 

Preparation:

In large skillet, brown pork on all sides in hot oil; remove from pan. Season roast with Seasoned Salt, Seasoned Pepper, Minced Onion with Green Onion Flakes and Garlic Powder with Parsley. Place in roasting pan. Pur‚e remaining ingredients in food processor, using steel blade, or in blender. Pour sauce over roast, cover and cook in 350 F. oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting frequently. Remove roast to serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from sauce and serve in separate bowl. Bananas, orange juice and green chiles - a most interesting sauce. Makes 6 servings PRESENTATION: Serve with cooked rice or buttered egg noodles.
