Preparation:
Butter 9" pan. Put half of the vanilla wafer crumbs in pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Put butter mixture on crumbs, then walnuts, then berries, then the whipped cream, then top with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate. Serve chilled.
Note: This is a very rich dessert. Best when fresh raspberries are used, not frozen. Can substitute strawberries or blueberries for a different taste. |
