Preparation:
Halve and carefully hollow oranges, reserving pulp for another use combine 4 cups water and 2 cups sugar in a saucepan, over a medium flame heat and stir to dissolve sugar add orange shells and poach gently for 10 minutes remove from heat, drain, and cool meanwhile, combine 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in a saucepan, over a medium-low flame heat and stir to dissolve sugar add cranberries to sugar mixture heat to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes remove from heat stir in candied ginger cover and chill for 1-96 hours spoon into orange shells serve chilled |
