California's Pear Salad

Ingredients:

1 package salad greens
1 pound cottage cheese
6 medium peeled fresh or canned pear halves
1 medium red skinned apple
1 medium avocado -- peeled
1/4 cup pomegranate seed
1/4 cup parsley
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
 

Preparation:

Line chop plate with salad greens and arrange cottage cheese in mound center. Arrange pear halves, cut sied uup, around cheese. Cut apple in 12 slices and avocado in 6 slices. arrange apple and avocado slices between pears, using 2 apple slices and 1 avocado slice. Sprinkle pomegranate seed on cheese and garnish salad with parsley. Mix remaining ingredients and serve as dressing.
