Preparation:
In large mixer bowl combine peanut butter and butter. Beat at medium spped, scraping bowl often until well mixed, about 1 minute. Continue beating, gradually adding powdered sugar and scraping bowl often, until smooth, about 1 or 2 minutes. By hand, stir in cereal. Press into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Refrigerate one hour, at least. In 1 quart saucepan combine all remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted, about 3 or 4 minutes. Pour melted chocolate over pan of candy. Refrigeratt at least 30 minutes to set. Stor in refrigerator. Makes 3 1/2 dozen if done in formed balls. |
