Preparation:
Combine sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan, over a medium flame heat and stir to dissolve sugar bring to a boil and heat to 297 degrees, without stirring stir in coloring and flavoring as desired raise flame to high and heat to 300 degrees remove from heat drop by spoonsful into buttered molds or onto buttered slab insert sticks or omit stick for lozenges seal each stick with a drop of fruit mixture cool completely wrap in plastic serve at room temperature |
