Pasta Salad With Basil Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

2 pounds fresh plum tomatoes -- cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon Fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/2 cup minced red bell pepper
1 pound uncooked pasta
 

Preparation:

Prepare pasta according to package directions (without adding salt), drain and set aside. Combine tomatoes, oil, vinegar and pepper in a large bowl. Combine the red onion, red pepper and pasta together in a separate bowl. Add the tomato mixture to the pasta and toss well. Serve.
