Ingredients:

4 Chops pork chops or cutlets -- trimmed of all fat
1 can tomato soup -- (10 1/2 oz.)
1/2 can water
1 medium onion -- peeled and sliced
1/4 teaspoon basil
4 cans rice -- cooked
 

Preparation:

Brown chops on both sides over high heat. Place in baking dish. Mix tomato soup and water until smooth, pour over chops. Lay onion slices on top and sprinkle with basil. About 15 minutes before they are done baste a time or two with sauce. Serve over rice with a side salad for a great meal. The only difference between a plain cook and a gourmet is imagination and the courage to try new things.
