Basic Curried Rice

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked rice
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 medium green bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1 medium Onion
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
 

Preparation:

saute onion and green pepper in butter until onion is tender. stir in curry powder, turmeric, slightly beaten egg, salt, pepper and cayenne. mix into hot rice; sprinkle with chopped olive if available.
