Ingredients:

1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon rosemary
16 ounces canned plum tomatoes
10 cups white stock
3/4 cup long grain rice
20 ounces garbanzo beans
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup parsley
 

Preparation:

heat olive oil in a large skillet, over a moderate flame add the tomatoes and their juice bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until nearly dry combine tomato mixture, white stock, and rice in a stockpot, over a moderate flame bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes add the garbanzo beans and simmer until rice is tender season to taste with salt and pepper garnish with minced parsley serve hot
