Nana'a Baked Beans

Ingredients:

2 pounds dried navy beans
1/4 pound salt pork or ham bone
2 small onions -- sliced thick,
3 tablespoons molasses
2 teaspoons salt
1 dash pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
2 cans tomato soup -- undiluted
 

Preparation:

Soak beans overnight in hot water. Stir in the morning and simmer for two hours. Heat oven to 300ΓΈ. Combine molasses, soup, salt, pepper and onion. Pour over beans and add pork. Bake 4 hours at 250*. If desired, remove onion. (I like to chop it and leave it in.) Freezes excellent.
