Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Mix together the dry ingredients and cut in the butter. Add enough ice water to make a dough the consistency of pie crust. Add the benne seed. Roll the dough out thinly and cut into small, round wafers. Place the wafers on a biscuit pan or cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
