Ingredients:

2 pounds ground chuck
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1/2 pound Cheddar -- cut into 4 slices
 

Preparation:

Preheat a grill over moderate heat until hot. In a bowl toss ground chuck lightly with Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and form into 4 patties. Grill burgers until almost done. Top each burger with a slice of Cheddar and melt under broiler if necessary. Serve on toasted poppyseed buns with lettuce, tomato and dill pickle.
