Preparation:
1. Heat oil and saute onions and garlic until tender. 2. In a bowl, mash together marzipan, jam, margarine, and lemon juice. Add chopped almonds and cinnamon. 3. Pour onion mixture into baking pan and add hot water. Lay fish, cavities up, on the onions. Stuff each fish with marzipan mixture. 4. Bake at 375 F for 40 minutes or until fish flakes easily. |
