Preparation:
Dissolve the gelatin in the two cups of hot water. Mix the two kinds of milk with the canned pineapple. Combine all ingredients and pour into a caramelized mold or shallow, oven-proof casserole dish.
The caramel: Melt sugar over medium heat until it becomes the color of caramel. Pour the caramel over the flan mold. (Caution! melted sugar is extremely hot.)
Refrigerate and serve. |
