Preparation:
1. Heat fudge topping until warm; keep warm while banana mixture is prepared.
2. Melt butter in small heavy skillet; stir in brown sugar. Peel bananas; cut in half lengthwise and then in thirds crosswise. Add to butter mixture, stirring constantly, until bananas are warm.
3. Place 4 scoops vanilla ice cream in one large dish or place 1 scoop in each of 4 individual dishes. Spoon banana mixture over ice cream.
4. Spoon hot fudge topping over banana mixture. Top with whipped cream, almonds and cherries. 1 large sundae to share or 4 smaller sundaes. |
