Preparation:
In frying pan cook bacon pieces over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon bits from pan and drain on paper towel. Add chopped onion to remaining bacon grease and cook until clear or tender. Remove onions from pan and drain on paper towel.
In 3 quart saucepan cook potatoes in 1 C water over medium heat just until fork tender (10-20 minutes) Add remaining ingredients,including onions and bacon. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until hot (10-12 minutes) |
