Pickled Green Tomatoes

Ingredients:

8 gallons medium size green tomatoes
3 cloves Garlic
1 medium Celery
1 Teaspoon Hot Pepper
1 Teaspoon Dill
2 Teaspoon Water
1 Teaspoon Vinegar
1 cup Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
 

Preparation:

Pack the tomatoes in quart jars, either whole or cut in half. Combine water, vinegar, salt, dill; cook 5 minutes. Fill jars within 1/2 inch from top and seal. NOTE: Jars should be hot when you fill with the tomatoes as it assures the jars will seal properly.
