Banana Coupe

Ingredients:

4 medium bananas
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons kirsch
 

Preparation:

Peel and cut bananas into slices 1/2-inch thick. Place in shallow dish. Sprinkle with sugar. Add orange juice. Let stand in refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Serve in sherbet glasses. Sprinkle with kirsch. Recipe Source: THE ART OF FRENCH COOKING by Fernande Garvin
