Creole Fish Soup

Ingredients:

1 pound red snapper -- boned/shredded
1 pound shelled shrimp -- diced
1 cup minced onion
1 cup diced potatoes
1 cup cooked strained tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 piece bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 cups water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
 

Preparation:

1. Combine all ingredients except lemon juice in large saucepan. 2. Simmer 40 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. 3. Add lemon juice; stir and serve.
