Preparation:
Mix flour and salt; cut in butter until crumbly looking. Add yogurt; mix well. Roll 1/8 inch thick; cut with floured 4 inch round cutter or cut in squares or diamonds. Fry in hot deep fat at 385f on frying thermometer until puffy and golden brown on both sides. Or fry in 1 inch hot oil in a deep skillet. Drain on paper towels. Makes about 3 dozen. |
