Scalloped Onions

Ingredients:

1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 large onion
2 cups cracker crumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 cup half and half
 

Preparation:

grease a large casserole or hotel pan with half the butter place a layer of onions in the bottom season lightly with salt and pepper sprinkle with cracker crumbs repeat for a total of 4 layers pour in half and half dot with remaining butter bake @ 375 degrees for 45 minutes, until top is well browned serve hot
