CASHEW GREEN BEANS

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter -- melted
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds green beans -- cleaned and lightly blanched
1 1/4 cups cashews
 

Preparation:

In a skillet melt the butter and add the salt and pepper. Drain the beans and transfer them to a serving bowl. Pour the butter over the beans. Add the cashews and toss. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings. NOTE: This dish can accompany almost any meal where a green vegetable is wanted.
