Puff Crisp Batter

Ingredients:

1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons peanut oil
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup scallions
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
 

Preparation:

combine dry ingredients stir in oil-mix well form into a ball gradually stir in water mix into a smooth batter stir in scallions and sesame seeds (if used) adjust consistency so that batter drips slowly from food coat food as desired, allow excess to drip off deep fry until golden drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels serve hot or warm
