Spicy Grilled Flank Steak With Chile-Lime Sauce

Ingredients:

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup lime juice
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced canned chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup ground allspice

2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons pure light olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 pounds flank steak
1 bunch chopped fresh cilantro
 

Preparation:

To make sauce, combine honey, lime juice, vinegar, mustard, chilies, cumin and allspice in processor and process until smooth. Transfer to bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, paprika, oregano, black pepper and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Rub over both sides of flank steak. Grill steak to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steak to cutting board. Let rest 5 minutes. Cut steak thinly across the grain. Arrange on platter. Drizzle with sauce then sprinkle with cilantro and serve. Flank steak is especially ideal for company because you don't have to worry about cooking individual steaks for everyone.
