2 pounds hamburger
1 medium Onion -- chopped
1 medium green pepper
28 ounces pulp from 1 28 oz. can tomatoes -- ( 4 in meat + 1/3 cup of their juice)
1 large egg
1 tablespoon sage -- (peggy adds more)
8 pieces saltine crackers -- crushed (4 in meat loaf and on 4 on top)
 

Preparation:

MOLD MEAT LOAF LEAVE 2 INCH FROM EDGE OF PAN AND POUR: 1 32 OZ. CAN TOMATO JUICE + SCRUNCHED TOMATOES AND THEIR JUICE WATER ABOUT 1/2 WAY UP SIDE PUT 4 POTATOES CUT LENGTHWISE AROUND LOAF + KITCHEN BOUQUET TO TASTE-BAKE 350ΓΈ FOR ONE HOUR-1/12 MAKE GRAVY BY ADDING FLOUR AND WATER SLURRY Notes: I've never seen a meat loaf like this one Peggy dissected it and got the ing. amounts rig
