Braised Short Ribs

Ingredients:

2 Pounds short ribs cut in serving size pieces
2 tablespoons flour
1/8 Teaspoon onion
1/8 Teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
1/8 Teaspoon thyme and rosemary
1/4 Teaspoon marjoram
1/4 Cup water
 

Preparation:

Roll meat in flour; brown well on all sides in hot fat...veggie oil can be used...in pressure cooker. Allow at least 20 minutes. Drain off all but 2-3 tablespoons fat. Add seasonings and water. Cook at 10 lb. for 45 minutes. In deep well cooker or heavy skillet, allow 2 hr. and increase water to 1 cup. 4 servings. NOTE: Vegetables may be added if desired. Open cooker; add vegetables and cook at 10lb. for 10 minutes more.
