Punch Bowl Cake

Ingredients:

1	package	Yellow cake mix
2	packages	Vanilla pudding mix , instant
1	can	Strawberry pie filling
12	ounces	package of Coconut
1	can	Fruit cocktail -- , drained
1	can	Crushed pineapple -- , drained
16	ounces	Cool Whip
1 1/2	cups	Chopped nuts
1	jar	Maraschino cherries -- , drained and rinsed

Preparation:

Make cake layers according to package directions. Prepare instant pudding according to package directions. Refrigerate until set. Place 1 cake layer in the bottom of a punch bowl. Place in layers the following: pudding, strawberry pie filling, fruit cocktail, pineapple, nuts and Cool Whip. Add second layer and repeat the layering the same as the first. Garnish with coconut and cherries.
