Preparation:
Assemble and attach fruit/vegetable strainer. Turn to speed 4 and strain broccoli. Set aside.
Melt butter in a 5-quart pot over medium heat. Add onion and celery and saute until tender. Add flour and cook until a smooth paste. Add broth and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in broccoli, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat through. Serve immediately. |
