Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups apples -- pared and sliced
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar -- packed
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup water
 

Preparation:

Cook first 4 ingredients 20 min., or until thickened. Add butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
