Preparation:
Mix cracker crumbs, granulated sugar and 1/4 cup melted butter thoroughly. Press half of mixture firmly and evenly in bottom of ungreased square 8 x 2-inch pan. Beat 1/2 cup butter, confectioners sugar and egg in small mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Spread careful over crumb mixture in pan. Mix banana, strawberries and pineapple. Spread evenly over butter mixture. In chilled bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff. Spread over fruit layer. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours.
Makes 9 servings. Try several layers for "richer" dessert. |
