Preparation:
Makes 1 cup
1. Core, peel and slice apple; place in saucepan with water.
2. Cover tightly and cook over medium heat until apple mashes very easily with fork; cool.
3 Using electric mixer, whip softened cream cheese until light and fluffy; gradually beat in mashed apple and dash allspice.
4. Serve dolloped over squares of brownies or spice cake. |
