Preparation:
In heavy saucepan mix sugar, corn syrup and water. Boil over medium heat without stirring until temperature reaches 300 degrees on candy thermometer. Remove from heat, quickly add mixed nuts, butter, baking soda, and vanilla.
Stir vigorously until well blended. Pour into 2 greased baking sheets and spread slightly. Let cool. Break into pieces and store in air tight container. |
