Grape Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup grape juice
3 tablespoons cream of rice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
 

Preparation:

Bring grape juice to a boil. Sprinkle in cream of rice and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 4 minutes. Stir in sugar, then lemon juice. Whir in a blender or beat with an electric or hand beater until smooth. Serve warm or cool. Makes 1 cup.
