Gram's Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

2	cups	ketchup
1/4	pound	unsalted butter
1/4	cup	worcestershire sauce
1	tablespoon	garlic -- finely chopped
1/2	cup	dark brown sugar -- packed
1	medium	lemon -- halved and seeded
1	teaspoon	salt -- to taste
1	teaspoon	freshly ground black pepper -- to taste
1	tablespoon	fresh ginger -- grated
1	teaspoon	tabasco sauce -- to taste

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized saucepan and bring to boiling, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Grill Chicken or Spareribs until almost done, then baste with the sauce during the last 15 to 30 minutes of grilling.
