Cashew Sauce

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons unsalted butter
3 teaspoons flour
1/2 cup cashews
1 cup beef stock
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
 

Preparation:

heat butter in a large skillet, over a medium flame whisk in flour until bubbly add cashews, heat and stir until mixture turns a rich golden color gradually whisk in beef broth stir in sugar bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 4-5 minutes skim well season to taste with salt and pepper serve hot
