Crispy Barbecue Snacks

1/3 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
3 cups crispix cereal


Preheat oven to 250F. In a large bowl combine the first 3 ingredients, mix well. Stir in the Crispix, stirring to coat completely. Spread onto non stick cookie sheets in a thin layer. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from cookie sheets. For best results, store sealed. Microwave: Cook on high for 5 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Keep the snacks to the edges of the pan as they have a tendency to catch FIRE when in the middle. Makes 3 - 1 cup servings. Variations: For hotter, smokier snacks, add 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 1/2 teaspoon Liquid Smoke seasoning.
