Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:

1 head broccoli
1 medium red onion -- optional
1/4 Cup crisp bacon or bacon bits -- optional
1/4 Cup peanuts or walnuts -- optional
1/4 Cup raisins -- optional
---DRESSING
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon vinegar
 

Preparation:

Remove florets from broccoli. Save stalks to use in soups. Place broccoli florets in bowl. Use about 1/2 cup of any two of the optional ingredients and add to florets. Mix dressing and pour over florets. Serve chilled.
