Barley Onion Pilaf

Ingredients:

1 pieces margarine or butter
1 medium Onion
1 can mushrooms
1 can beef consomme
1 can water
1 cup barley or rice
 

Preparation:

Saute chopped onions and mushrooms in margarine. Add soup, water and barley. Place in casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. This is a delicious side dish and easy to take to pot luck dinners.
