Farm Chicken

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
3 1/2 pounds chicken -- cut into 8 pieces
1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
1 large green bell pepper -- diced
1 large onion -- diced
2 cloves garlic -- crushed
10 ounces frozen green peas
 

Preparation:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place it in a skillet; brown on all sides. Remove the chicken and set aside. Place the green bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes or until softened, stirring frequently. Return the chicken to the skillet; cover and cook over medium-low heat for 45 to 50 minutes, stirring often. Gently stir in the frozen green peas and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with potatoes, rice, or noodles.
