Preparation:
Combine sugar and shortening in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed utnil well blended. Add eggs, syrup and vanilla. Beat until well blended and fluffy. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and powder. Add, gradually to creamed mixture. Mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Shape into balls and roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 5-9 minutes. |
