Preparation:
Beat butter and granulated sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add
eggs; mix until well blended. Combine 1 cup flour, cocoa, baking powder and
salt in small bowl; add to butter mixture. Mix until well blended. Stir in
remaining 1 cup flour and chocolate covered raisins. Cover; refrigerate
until
firm, 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350~F. Grease cookie sheets. Coat hands with powdered sugar.
Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1 inch balls; roll in powdered
sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 14 to 17 minutes or
until
firm to the touch. Remove immediately from cookie sheets; cool completely on
wire racks. |
