Preparation:
Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually
add sugars, beating well. Add eggs, water and vanilla; beat until blended.
Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; gradually add to butter mixture,
beating at low speed until blended. Shape dough into a ball; cover and
chill 30 minutes. Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface. Roll to
1/8-inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch round cutters. Place on a lightly
greased baking sheet; sprinkle with sugar crystals. Bake at 350 degrees for
5 to 7 minutes. Cool on wire racks. |
