Apple Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup butter or margarine -- softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup apple butter
1 cup all prupose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup raisins
 

Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, oats and apple butter. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture along with the milk; beat until blended. Stir in nuts and raisins. Chill well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
